THE WILD VISION
Our Story Began With Two, Likeminded, Passionate People
Celtic Rewilding’s inception began with Harvey and Tom, driven by a love for nature, and the apparent decline of our ecosystems, during the uncertain days of the COVID pandemic.

Harvey Tweats
Director
Harvey, one-half of the driving force behind Celtic Rewilding, is wholeheartedly dedicated to restoring ecosystems and reintroducing lost wildlife. His journey with CR has taken him across the UK and Europe helping to catalyse nature recovery and rewilding. Working principally between the interception of business and charity, Harvey finds creative solutions to kickstart the financing of nature-based projects.
Tom Whitehurst
Director
Tom, the other half of a transformative force behind CR, is not only Harvey’s close friend, but also a key figure in the strategic intricacies of scaling rewilding and the operational logistics required to deliver such projects. Tom principally guides the smooth running of CR’s operations across the UK, especially matters relating to finance and logistics.

Director
Meet Tom Whitehurst, a transformative force in ecological restoration and co-director of Celtic Rewilding. Best friends with Harvey Tweats since youth, Tom’s journey is woven with a shared vision for a healthier planet.
Joining Celtic Rewilding in 2019, Tom brought unwavering determination to restore ecosystems, contributing to a brighter, sustainable future. His commitment goes beyond theory, actively shaping ecological projects and milestones like acquiring land for the breeding facility.
Tom’s journey exemplifies the power of collaboration and determination in achieving a shared vision for nature’s restoration.
